Lotte and Chris, a young couple living in London, also had this desire and contacted us because they were looking for a wedding planner in Tuscany who could organize their wedding.

Location scouting for a wedding in Tuscany

Once we had defined the desired wedding style and the number of guests, together with Lotte and Chris, we searched for the perfect wedding venue to guarantee the so-called Italian Plan B in case of rain. The choice was Casale di Valle, in the countryside of Vinci, which in addition to being surrounded by nature and Tuscan vineyards, also offers large indoor spaces.

The rustic and country style of the farmhouse immediately struck the couple, who were looking for a place like this. For them, it was love at first sight!

Welcome party for wedding guests

The wedding celebrations for Chris and Lotte began the day before with the Pizza party, which took place near the old wood-burning oven of the farmhouse. An opportunity to introduce guests to each other, and allow future spouses to relax before their “Yes, I do”.

The view of the countryside and the surrounding vineyards surprised all guests. For many of them, it was the first time they visited Tuscany. Also on the wedding day, before the ceremony, we planned an informal brunch with pleadings and beer, waiting for the symbolic ritual scheduled in the afternoon.

Symbolic rite wedding in Tuscany

For the wedding setup of the symbolic rite of Lotte and Chris, we chose an impressive place: the breathtaking view of a terrace over the vineyards. To make everything more romantic, live music and the arrival of the bridesmaids who anticipated the entrance of the bride.

The exchange of promises between the couple was emotional. Lotte and Chris’s family and friends were moved and rejoiced with them. Every moment was perfect!
After the ritual photos of the couple and their family, guests were offered the aperitif buffet accompanied by live music.

Wedding reception with imperial tables and Tuscan menu

The wedding reception continued with a dinner served on elegant imperial tables, set up in the large park surrounding the farmhouse. We embellished each table with candles and small olive branches, the symbol of the wedding present in the envelopes of the participants, in the bouquet, in the centerpieces, and on the labels of the bottles of oil given as favors.

To give a Tuscan experience, Lotte and Chris decided to serve only traditional dishes with homemade egg pasta, steak on the grill, and red wine produced in the cellars. For the cake, instead, the bride and groom have chosen a naked cake set up on a barrel, under a centuries-old tree sparkling with lights!
