Krissy & Robbie

For their wedding day, Krissy and Robbie celebrated with an enchanting Intimate wedding in Tuscany attended by family and close friends. The couple, from England, celebrated for an entire weekend at Fattoria Mansi Bernardini in Lucca. The estate, named after the ancient Borghetto from which it was derived, includes no less than five villas, two beautiful swimming pools accompanied by a Jacuzzi, and an elegant tennis court, all nestled among the gardens of the grand villas.

Pizza party the night before the wedding

On the evening before the wedding, we organized a fun and engaging Pizza Party for Krissy and Robbie. It was a way for the wedding guests, who had just arrived from England, to get to know each other and create the right party atmosphere in the run-up to the wedding.

Friends and family enjoyed excellent pizza freshly baked by a professional pizzaiolo, savoring the typical flavors of Italian cuisine. The evening continued with toasts and laughter in the name of love.
At the end of the party, bride and groom-to-be and guests returned to their rooms to rest up for the wedding.

Wedding at Fattoria Mansi Bernardini

The following day, Krissy and Robbie got married in a symbolic ceremony in the beautiful garden of Fattoria Mansi Bernardini. The altar was placed in front of an olive tree decorated with light-colored fabrics. The same fabric we then also used for the mise en place of the imperial table for the reception.

After the exchange of vows, the couple sealed their love by closing two bottles of good red wine inside a wooden casket. That same casket that, five years from now, they will reopen to take out the two bottles, uncork them, and celebrate their “wooden anniversary” by reliving the excitement of their “yes” day.

Shabby chic style arrangement and flowers

For arrangements and flowers for their big day, Krissy and Robbie chose a shabby chic style that combined vintage hues in pastel colors with a country style and casual elegance.

English roses, cluster roses, purple locks and dahlias were the undisputed stars, along with a delicate color palette in shades of navy blue and pink. The result was an elegant contrast to the white columns and amphorae found inside and outside the venue.

Wedding dinner under the stars at Fattoria Mansi Bernardini

After the symbolic ceremony, newlyweds and relatives enjoyed a generous aperitif of typical Tuscan dishes and wines of Italian excellence. A vintage-style ice cream cart delighted and refreshed the gluttonous attendees.

For the reception, the bride, groom and guests took their seats at the beautiful imperial table set up under the stars, with an almost fairytale-like mise en place: underplates, crystal glasses in gold thread, and gilded cutlery.

Krissy, Robbie and their guests then celebrated by dancing to dance music and sipping drinks late into the night.
