For Elena and Kory’s Italian-American wedding, we selected the wonderful location of Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, just outside Florence. The entire reception featured the color gold and an elegant chic style that won everyone over, along with the extraordinary view of the hills visible from the villa and its gardens.

Religious ceremony in Valdibure, Pistoia

For the wedding ceremony, the couple chose a religious rite inside the quaint Church of S. Giovanni di Valdibure, a delightful parish church in the tuscan countryside.

After the yes, newlyweds and guests reached Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, where the scenic Italian garden provided the backdrop for the welcome toast and the first souvenir photos of the event. The view of the Tuscan countryside left the guests, mostly from the United States, truly speechless.

Reception at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte

For the aperitif and reception, the newlyweds and guest made their way to the interior of the villa, where the magnificent rooms set up with the gold theme were a delight.

The catering served a tasty aperitif composed by finger food and other traditional Tuscan dishes. The chef entertained guests with an excellent show cooking of fresh octopus and home-made sauces. This was accompanied by the evocative notes of a jazz trio.

For the dinner, the Italian-American couple chose the wonderful Pandolfo Sacchi Gallery, the large, fully frescoed hall of Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte. The elegant and chic setting featured gold in both the mise en place and stationary.

The kitchen crew has taken care of every detail of the menu, inspired by local dishes revisited with a modern twist. Each course was paired with a wine from our Tuscany, carefully selected by the sommelier.

Party with live music and DJ set

After the dinner was over, the celebration continued with the romantic cake cutting and a party with music and entertainment.
To meet the tastes of Italian guests as well as those of American guests, Elena and Kory wanted to offer a cocktail bar with drinks of various types, featuring whiskies and rums from America and England.

The party continued with the musical accompaniment of the live band playing, ending with the DJ set that kept the newlyweds and guests rocking until late into the night.
