Wedding in Chianti hills

The Casale di Valle, the location chosen to celebrate both the civil ceremony and the wedding party, is located in the beautiful Chianti area, precisely between the Vinci and Cerreto hills, and is one of the most exclusive period residences in the area. It offers numerous solutions and considerable outdoor spaces, but also indoors, to be able to give free rein to every desire in terms of organization and preparation of events.

In the case of Silvia and Luca’s wedding, we decided to place a welcome buffet, rich in dishes of the most genuine and tasty Tuscan culinary tradition, in the beautiful and well-kept park that dominates the surrounding valley, mostly occupied by long rows of vines, from which prestigious wines are produced, served during the event.

Rain nightmare: the plan B of WeWeddings

After the civil ceremony, which should have been held in front of a pretty chapel adjacent to the garden and the splendid terrace, guests could enjoy the splendid panorama while enjoying delicious dishes. This was what was defined before the nightmare of bad weather hit us, but one of the main qualities of a good wedding planner is precisely that of knowing how to deal with any kind of unexpected event.

Our staff had planned everything even in case of rain, and immediately coordinate the transfer operations of the buffet inside the villa, in the sumptuous Sala del Camino. We also immediately made available all the elements necessary for the ceremony inside the house, ensuring that each guest had a delightful lace umbrella designed for the occasion.

Country chic wedding

The planned set-up has highlighted the country style of the wedding, with beautiful very colorful floral compositions composed of splendid specimens of roses, hydrangeas and wildflowers. The space dedicated to the photo booth has been organized both inside and outside, being able to make the most of the potential of the garden during the moments of clear sky.

For the placé dinner, round and rectangular tables in light-colored raw wood were arranged, both in one of the most evocative internal rooms, from the ceiling and walls in red bricks, and in the splendid outdoor gazebo, connected to the hall. The mise en place included glass placemats, finely worked crystals and silver cutlery, olive branches to mark each place and, in the center of each table, magnificent decomposed floral compositions, with hydrangeas from the most vivid colors, buttercups, gypsophila and eucalyptus leaves.

Green decorations

A setting that with its unquestionably green soul has helped to create a country chic allure for the entire duration of the dinner. Very characteristic and well configured with the other elements of the marriage, also the tableau mariage designed for the occasion. To be protagonists in this case, were the aromatic plants so much used in the preparation of typical Tuscan dishes.

Sage, thyme, rosemary, all placed in graceful white perforated jars, arranged on a wooden construction, also white. The arrival of the bride and groom at their table, acclaimed by friends and relatives, ready to celebrate together the triumph of their love, was a magical and exciting moment, but not the only moving one.

Another circumstance full of emotion and trepidation was certainly that relating to the cutting of the cake, moments that will remain indelible in the hearts of those who are the absolute protagonists of the wedding day, but also of all their loved ones. Nothing had to be left to chance, even for the preparation of the table, it is necessary to follow the common thread of the entire event.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional equipment of the tables of the past, we have researched the most prestigious fabrics worked in lace, to enhance not only the rustic aspect of the event but also the elegant and sophisticated one. In fact, if you decide to use a country chic style for your wedding, never take for granted refined details, the risk is to trivializing the event without giving importance to good taste.

The multi-storey cake was decorated with the addition of roses, with both soft and lively tones, while regarding the setting of the surrounding environment, we chose to create a magical and romantic atmosphere using decorative lights and hanging lanterns. Equally elegant and well cared for were also the sweet corner and the wedding favors table.

At the end of the evening, we realized how well everything went smoothly, despite the unexpected bad weather conditions. Our professionalism has allowed us to serenely coordinate all the various phases of the marriage, guaranteeing our spouses and their guests the serenity to fully enjoy every moment of the wedding day, eliminating unpleasant anxieties and worries from their thoughts.
